Mohair blankets and scarves

For the mohair blankets I am using a loop yarn ( 50% wool, 46% mohair,4% PA) in various colours. I don‘t have a catalogue, because the blankets are designed according to inspiration and order. I have blankets that are unicoloured, striped or checkered, and from dark to light.

Once I have finished weaving a warp length of blankets ( approx. 8 blankets), they‘re sent to a company that finishes the blankets by ‚combing‘ the loops out of the yarn. This gives the blankets their soft and fleecy feel.

The sizes of the blankets are 140 x 200 cm ( 55 “ x 79 “) and 140 x 100 cm ( 55“ x 39“).
The blankets can be woven shorter or longer, just the width (140 cm = 55“) is fixed.

For those who don‘t like the fleecy feel, I always have some that are not ‚combed‘.
